Dana Ragouzeos is a designer and design researcher with extensive experience working within health care. She loves to listen and observe. At work, she turns her focus toward understanding the intricacies of what makes our health care experiences great or down right terrible. Turning that knowledge into action, creating positive experiences for patients, providers, and families  through design, is incredibly satisfying. Dana has worked as a designer within healthcare for The Mayo Clinic, UCSF, and currently for the Kaiser Permanente Innovation Consultancy. Her projects range from designing elements of the electronic medical record to increase patient-provider face-time to doing in-home ethnographies with transgender individuals to better understand their health care needs.
